you may remember the Christmas map 🎄 last December. but intrip is more than that.

it’s now a space
where locals pass around their everyday journals in BC.
where these memories slowly build your own life map.

My go-to pour over at Oide Coffee | by brewwithmei

📍Oidé Coffee
One of my go-to spots in Vancouver for a good pour over. From downtown it's just one bus ride, which makes it an easy stop even if it feels a bit far from most places.
Their beans change often. Sometimes they use roasters from Toronto or other cities, so it feels more like a curated selection than a fixed menu.
It's nice being able to try well-known roasters without having to travel for them.

Both espresso and pour over are consistently well made. On my fourth visit they were using the CAFEC Deep Dripper from Japan. The aroma was lighter than usual but the flavor came through right away, clean, full, and satisfying.

Acidity: Medium | Sweetness: High Bitterness: None | Body: Medium | Aroma: High | Flavor Notes: Floral, fruity, full-bodied | Beans: High quality | Roast Level: Medium to light

2 Night Kayak Trip on Pitt Lake | by mariaadey

📍Pitt Lake
Located less than an hour outside of Vancouver, Pitt Lake is a gem of Pitt Meadows. Park at Grant Narrows and spend the day walking along the dike trails, birdwatching, or paddling!

We launched our kayaks on a friday night and spent two nights camping at Raven Creek
Campsite, using it as a home base to explore the lake. This trip lends itself better to more experienced paddlers, as the lake can get very windy in the early afternoon. Use the same launch to explore Widgeon Creek, which is better for beginners.

why we build intrip?

intrip is a local discovery platform — built in Vancouver, free for everyone.

we noticed the best local experiences and spots never show up where you'd look. they live in someone's memory, a group chat, a casual recommendation, shared by people who've actually been there. intrip is simply a place for locals to pass around their personal journals. sharing these pieces of our lives gives meaning to ourselves, to the city we live in — and to the local businesses that can finally be found by the people who live here.

real local journals
no tourist traps, just the hidden corners locals actually go to and want to pass around.

words over videos
every spot is shared through real photos and genuine insights instead of fast-paced videos. it is time to slow living, trading algorithmic loops for a quiet space where local stories live.

for us, and our city
writing down these moments gives meaning to our own everyday lives while helping the local shops we love thrive.

we’re officially live in bc.

to start discovering and mapping your own days.
